Emmerdale viewers were left gobsmacked during the first of Thursday’s two episodes, as Liv Flaherty rumbled Maya Stepney and Jacob Gallagher’s affair.
Liv’s boyfriend Jacob has been groomed by his stepmother, and teacher, for months.
He dumped her after growing guilty, only using their relationship to cover his tracks with dad David’s partner Maya.
In dramatic scenes, Liv decided to confront Jacob for ending things with her without any reason.

As she got to his house and managed to get in, she rushed to his bedroom only for him to open the door topless.
Realising she’d caught him cheating on her she questioned who the mystery girl was.
Despite his protests, Liv pushed her way through to his bedroom, only to discover Maya.
She wasn’t exactly dressed herself, with Liv putting two and two together and realising they had slept together.
Jacob was horrified to learn his secret was out, with Maya also shocked to be discovered.
Poor Liv gasped, before rushing out of the room stunned by what she had just seen.
A recent trailer teased the secret would come to light, with Maya appearing to be attacked on a night out.
But it’s not yet known if Liv will reveal all, or if Maya will find a way to get out of the betrayal.
