There will be some special Emmerdale tours happening in October to mark the soap’s 50th anniversary.
Many Emmerdale fans will be excited to discover what is planned for the programme’s major milestone - which is officially happening on Sunday, October 16. To make things extra special, viewers can take a trip around the set, based in rural Leeds, the show uses for Emmerdale.
Due to the closed set location, your journey will begin outside The New Inn Pub, Eccup Lane. There will then be a coach transfer to the village where you will embark on a 90 minute, fully guided, tour where you’ll explore the village and see exterior sets of The Woolpack, Café Mainstreet, David’s Shop and many more.

You’ll have plenty of opportunities to take photos and buy souvenirs before boarding the coach back to the New Inn. This month, as part of the soap’s celebrations, anyone taking on the tour will get a limited edition tour script and exclusive prop exhibition.
