There’s a major Emmerdale schedule change coming just months after the soap moved to a new timeslot.
As Emmerdale fans will know, to accommodate an extended ITV News programme the soap shifted to a new week day slot of 7.30pm. This also resulted in Coronation Street airing later.
Now, because of the Britain’s Got Talent live semi-final shows, Emmerdale will temporarily move back to 7pm. This will happen all week, for one week only, from Monday, May 30.

Corrie will then air at 7.30pm and BGT will follow at 8pm. The talent show, presented by Ant and Dec, will air for two hours.
The schedule change means there also won’t be a Thursday hour of Emmerdale. So, Emmerdale fans will miss out on 30 minutes of Emmerdale that week.
