Emmerdale teases exit for Moira Dingle in prison twist as Nicola sets plan in motion

Emmerdale has teased a potential exit for Moira Dingle - as Nicola sets her plan in motion.

Moira was behind the wheel of her car when Nicola came round a blind spot bend and the cars crashed into one another. Whilst both Nicola and Moira were unscathed, teenager Angel was rushed to hospital with leg injuries.

As she recovers after the accident, Nicola has made it her mission to get justice for her daughter and is hell bent on ensuring that Moira does time for the accident she said she had caused.

Nicola left her daughter's bedside during tonight's episode as she confronted Moira over what had happened. She told her that she was to blame, after Tom King let slip that she had been up all night tending to a sick cow.

As she stood outside the hospital room, she planned her revenge, telling Jimmy she was going to report Moira to the police over the crash - but could this mean she might be heading for an exit?

If the police decide to investigate - and it goes to court - could Moira find herself in prison?

Natalie J Robb never thought she'd stay on the soap for so long, after initially just getting a three year contract.

Asked if she thought she would still be here, she said: "No, because I don’t think that far ahead. But the role did come with a three-year contract, so I remember thinking: 'It’s time for me to try to lay down some roots.'

"So I bought myself a house in Harrogate, Yorkshire, which I’m still doing up now. I’m such a DIY fanatic."

She added: "To still be doing what I love, to still be in work, it’s great. I get people asking if I’d ever want to go off and do theatre, but my love is television drama. I enjoy the fact that it’s not the same thing every day. I love the spontaneity of it all – you just never know what’s going to happen next, especially in a soap like Emmerdale."
