Emmerdale stars tease future for Nate and Tracy after shock wedding day kidnap

Jurell Carter and Amy Walsh have teased what's to come for Nate and Tracy on Emmerdale after a shock wedding day kidnap.

In huge scenes aired this evening, Cain and Moira kidnapped Nate as he was convinced he was planning to firstly try and get custody over his child Frankie, and then secondly, they were concerned he was crashing Tracy's wedding.

However, the pair have actually been planning their own wedding for months after reuniting off screen and with Amy Walsh now back from maternity leave, Tracy and Nate could finally go ahead with their big day.

Explaining to The Mirror and other press about how Nate feels after he has his wedding disrupted, Jurell said: "I think he’s shocked and angry because this has been in the planning for months, behind closed doors.

"I even say, we didn’t want any pressure and we wanted everything to go smoothly. Even his own wedding day hasn’t gone smoothly makes him angry and frustrated - and he’s upset because it was a chance for them to have their special day but it’s not gone to plan."

Whilst their wedding doesn't get off to the smoothest starts, Jurell is glad to have Amy back on set.

"It’s really nice for her to be back, having a familiar face again. Personally, for me, seeing me and Tracy back together has been great," he shared of working with his co-star once more now she is back from maternity leave.

The pair are hopeful the future could be bright for Tracy and Nate but are expecting some hiccups in their future.

Jurell said: "I would love it - but nothing goes smoothly because it’s a soap. Who knows? We may go through a smooth relationship, who knows," whilst Amy added: "We think it would be interesting to show love has prevailed. It could be interesting to see this couple go through their bumps in the road that couples naturally come against and get through them. That’s so true to life. Work pulls you away, it’s hard to keep your relationship alive, but there’s probably more extreme situations that are going to test them."

The pair are a "great match", according to Jurell, who plays ladies man Nate.

Jurrell shared: "I think they’re a great match because they come from a similar background. Neither of them had a stable relationship, and neither of them had a ‘dad’ in their life. We can relate to each other."
