Emmerdale stars have started arriving at the 2022 BAFTA Awards for a night of showbiz, TV, and glamour.
Of course the beloved Yorkshire soap is up for another nomination this year - hoping to bag the gong for best soap. Emmerdale has won three BAFTA awards in the past - could this year be the year for another win?
With the soap's 50th anniversary coming up in October it would be perfect timing to bag an award before the show's big birthday. And while nerves might be kicking in for the award results, one thing the Emmerdale stars are guaranteed to win is a prize for all-out glamour.

Actors and actresses from the show have been getting glammed up since Friday for the event. Paige Sandhu, who famously plays Meena in the soap, went to a facial specialist on Saturday evening and got a mud mask poured on her face. She said: "This mask was incredible. And the whole team were so knowledgeable and helpful with my skin concerns."
And around 4pm she was seen heading to the red carpet with co-stars. The actress is wearing a long black silk-looking gown with a cowl neckline, accompanied with silver earrings, a black clutch bag, and black sandal heels.
She is joined by Fiona Wade, known for playing malicious character Priya in the Yorkshire show, who is wearing a sparkly corset-style gown showcasing her figure. The dress has a slit at the side with ruffles on. She also wears curled hair and silver earrings.
And not forgetting the gents on the soap, joining the ladies is Kevin Mathurin, who has played Charles Anderson since 2020. The actor opted for a suave look - wearing a black velvet dinner jacket.
In a selection of pictures shared on Emmerdale's Instagram page, soap bosses said: "All dressed up and ready for the BAFTAs."
