Emmerdale stars Emma Atkins and Lawrence Robb have spoken of fan reaction to the behaviour of their characters.
Appearing on ITV’s Loose Women, the pair discussed the reaction they sometimes get from fans who are very invested in the ITV soap. Emma Atkins, 48, and Lawrence Robb, 31, play Charity Dingle and Mackenzie Boyd in Emmerdale.
As fans know, Mack has been involved in some major scandals. Not least being father to the newborn baby Chloe Harris gave birth to this week - the same week he married Charity.

Lawrence, admitting some fans don’t take kindly, said: “I do not like my character at all. If he did exist in real life I would not be friends with him.”
Also, let’s not forget Charity has been involved in her fair share of misdemeanours. Emma discussed some of the response she experiences from viewers.

She said: “In the supermarket, people say things like ‘you are a wrong’un but I like you’.”
