Emmerdale star shares health update after Liverpool Women's Hospital stay

Samantha Giles has issued her heartfelt thanks to Liverpool Women's Hospital.

The Emmerdale actress, who plays Bernice Blackstock, said she is 'fine' after making a visit to the hospital on Saturday. The reason for her stay is unknown.

Thanking NHS staff for caring for her, Samantha, 50, tweeted: "Huge thank you to all the wonderfully caring staff at @LiverpoolWomens for looking after me today. #NHS.

"I’m fine and I’ll be home soon."

Fans responded to her tweet, wishing her a speedy recovery. Paul tweeted: "Get well soon Samantha."

Rebecca said: "Bless you, Sam, I hope you're feeling comfortable and better soon", while Laura added: "Nowhere better than @LiverpoolWomens First-class care every time @sammeegiles."

And former Emmerdale star Reece Dinsdale said: "Speedy recovery Samantha x."
