Emmerdale star Lucy Pargeter has wowed her followers as she showed off her huge back tattoo. The actress, famed for playing Chas Dingle in the ITV soap, took to both Twitter and Instagram to show off the intricate new inking.
Lucy, 42, reshared a snap posted by her tattoo artist which saw her posing with her back turned to the camera. Her brunette tresses had been messily but cooly pulled up into a claw clip in order to show off her body art which started from the bottom of her neck and moved down to the middle of her body.
The expansive and thinly-drawn design featured floral patterns on both shoulder blades while the petals were headed up by a delicately drawn chandelier-style design that spanned the back of her ribs.

Lucy posted the black and white snap of the finished inking to Twitter with six love heart emojis as the caption while she simply reshared tattoo artist Olivia Fayne's post to her own Instagram Story.
In the online post, Olivia shared a trio of naps to her work to her professional Instagram page and wrote: "Fresh and healed on the lovely Lucy, what a laugh we’ve had." And the soap star was quick to reply: "You are the most incredible human, artist and kindred spirit I am honoured to have been blessed to meet."
Lucy's fans, meanwhile, were quick to comment back to her post. @TaraHug64706321 said: "Absolutely stunning." @jjb970 replied: "That is beautiful!" @mumof3kids commented: "Simply Amazing!! Wow." @xdebbiej23x wrote: "Absolute beautiful piece of art." @debby_ballard added: "Luv this Lucy!!!"
It comes weeks after Lucy had the last laugh after being trolled online for having work done and for dying her hair. The soap star took to social media to share what a man had been saying to her on Facebook and claimed he was a "hypocrite" as he appeared to be a mental health advocate.
In a tweet, Lucy said: "Do you know what makes me giggle? A man on Facebook slagging me off for having some cosmetic bits and bobs, along with wearing makeup and dying my hair !!! And then on his profile supporting @MindCharity surely even he can see the hypocrisy???"
Among many positive responses, one fan said: "Can’t even tell that you’ve had bits and bobs done. You’re a fantastic actress with such a beautiful personality and you’re gorgeous! Ignore them".
Lucy replied: "That’s lovely of you to say, but how can you not? [cry-laughing emojis] I think my swollen lips that should have had at least a week to recover but actually had 4 hours had their own #hatepage!!!!"
And after being told not to let the man's comments worry her, Lucy reassured fans that she was absolutely fine as in a follow-up tweet that while she wanted to respond by pointing out the problems with what he was wriitng him about her, she said: "But I wished him positive thoughts and good luck with his charity work."
