Emmerdale star Lisa Riley had a two-word response as viewers finally saw her on-screen character Mandy Dingle reunite with Paddy Kirk, years after they tied the knot on-screen in the ITV soap.
Things, obviously, didn't last between the pair back then as shortly after they wed, Mandy started an affair with her dad's carer after she left the fictional Yorkshire village for Southampton. The pair have since gone on to have several relationships between them but in scenes aired back in February 8, viewers saw Paddy fall back into Mandy's arms as he struggled with his split from wife Chas.
But for the much-loved vet, things got much worse as his battle with depression reached crisis point and he planned to take his own life. Since then, Mandy has remained quiet about her feelings for Paddy, even attempting to get back on the dating scenes.

However, she ended up telling Paddy she loved him after his dad, Bear, made a mortifying pass at his son's ex before he encouraged her to tell Paddy her true feelings. But when she did, she got the response she was scared of and Paddy didn't appear keen on giving things a go between the.
And later, Paddy was shocked as Bear admitted he'd tried to kiss Mandy. But Bear turned the tables on Paddy by telling him to go for Mandy if he truly loves her, warning his son that he only had "so many chances" to be happy. Bear then went to see Mandy as she appeared with her suitcases packed.
Paddy later went out in the pouring rain to apologise to Mandy, admitting that he says "stupid things" because he still feels lost. "I'm scared of losing our friendship because if I lose that, I lose you," Paddy admitted. Mandy tried to pretend it was best to keep their relationship platonic, but Paddy confessed that he loves her.
But he still walked away from her again as her bus arrived. As it then left without her, Mandy admitted she was just trying to set up a romantic moment where he could kiss her in the rain and after she spelt it all out to him, Paddy rushed over and they pair did indeed share a passionate embrace.
Taking to social media after the scenes aired, Lisa posted a snap of herself as Mandy and Dominic Brunt as Paddy in one of their recent scenes. "HAPPY DAYS," she simply captioned the post alongside a string of clapping emojis.
