Emmerdale star Ash Palmisciano has joked he owes his relationship to ITV favourite Lorriane Kelly after she put a good word in for him.
Acting star Ash Palmisciano, 32, who made history as the show's first transgender character and the first character written into the show to have transitioned, has spoken of his admiration for talkshow host Lorraine Kelly.
Reported by Inside Soap, Ash said Lorraine, 62, had a lovely exchange with the acting star’s girlfriend. Ash explained: “I owe Lorraine some money.

“I introduced her to my girlfriend at an event once, showing her off a bit, and Lorraine said to my girlfriend ‘he’s a good egg’ so I’m forever going to be grateful to her for sealing the deal for me.”
Earlier this year, Ash teamed up with Lorraine and several ITV stars as part of the Pride celebrations in London. The celeb said: “We went down to London on the ITV Pride bus with the likes of Lorraine Kelly, Phillip Schofield and Alison Hammond.
“Gok Wan was DJing, pumping out tunes - and then the bus broke down. So, we all got off and walked the parade, and for me, that was amazing, marching with these icons.”
