Emmerdale star addresses double exit rumours ahead of explosive Mack and Charity twist

Emmerdale actress Jessie Elland has teased all on the moment Charity Dingle discovers the truth about Mackenzie Boyd and Chloe Harris' secret child.

Viewers know that Jessie's character fell pregnant last summer after a one-night stand with Mack, who had stormed off after a row with Charity.

Instead of revealing the truth to Charity, he instead proposed to her - and when he found out that Chloe was pregnant and had decided to keep her baby, he still kept his secret to himself.

Not only that but Mack also told Chloe he didn't want to be a part of the child's life, while he's clearly been torn over this in recent weeks.

Earlier this month Chloe gave birth to a baby boy on the same day that Mack and Charity tied the knot, and in the fallout Mack unwillingly met his child.

Now, actress Jessie has shared her thoughts on the storyline ahead of the truth finally coming out.

With Chloe and her baby boy preparing to exit the village for good, the actress teased whether this could be a departure for her.

She told The Mirror and other press: "She's pretty sure that it is the course of action she is gonna take. It's not necessarily the thing she wants to do but she is forcing herself to do it, because she really thinks it's the right thing to do."

On the big reveal and Charity learning the truth, Jessie went on: "I think to be honest the guilt element is weighing heavier on her mind than the fear of the wrath of the Dingles, especially after living with them.

"There's the guilt element of it, because it's not so black and white, there is that grey area that adds a lot to it. A lot more interest and excitement I would say."

In a recent episode, viewers saw Chloe return home with her newborn baby son and it wasn't long before Mack learned his secret child was just houses away.

He did everything he could to flee the village without having to see the baby, but an oblivious Charity decided she wanted to pay Chloe a visit.

Charity will find out the truth (ITV)

Later, as Charity said she would visit after the honeymoon was over Chloe told her she would have left the village for a new life in Aberdeen by then.

Chloe revealed to Charity and Mack her plans to live in Scotland, and said she and her baby boy would both be gone within days.

Charity seemed shocked while Mack was torn, having tried to force Chloe to leave the village previously.

But with both her and Mack's child set for an exit, will his clear feelings for his secret son lead to him leaving too?

It comes as the soap's Executive Producer Jane Hudson teased to The Mirror and other press that the truth would soon come out.

She told us: "There's Charity, Chloe and Mackenzie. We all know there's a big secret that is due to come out which is he's got a baby and it's Chloe's. So the question is when is it gonna come out?

"It is soon, very soon and there's a big choice for Mack. Does he want to be a dad or does he want to be a husband, and can he be both or not? And how is Charity gonna respond? We know she is fiery... can Chloe remain in that village when that secret comes out? Because we know it's not going to be nice with the wrath of the Dingles against her."

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
