Emmerdale is headed for courtroom drama next week, as Meena Jutla finally takes to the stand on the ITV soap to face justice for her murderous crimes.
The killer nurse, played by Paige Sandhu, was caught after returning to the the Dales to crash Dawn Taylor and Billy Fletcher's wedding, and has since been charged with murder and thrown behind bars.
The soap villain faces murder charges for the deaths of Andrea Tate, Ben Tucker, Leanna Cavanagh and a girl named Nadine - and she was also charged with other crimes including kidnap and attempted murder.
But Meena has continued to manipulate characters from the prison waiting room and as her plea hearing approaches, vicar Charles Anderson and sister Manpreet Sharma are desperate to get a confession out of her at last.

Meena twist leaves villagers unsettled as she takes to the stand
After denying her crimes for weeks, and even resortings to setting up her sister in a desperate bid to avoid justice, she next week makes a surprising decision that leaves her former neighbours rattled.
ITV spoilers reveal that residents including Manpreet, Charles Anderson, Leyla Harding and Liam Cavanagh all face her in court, hoping to get justice for the victims.
But when Meena stands to make her plea, the villagers are stunned, as she pleads guilty to the first of her many charges.
Her sudden change of heart leaves everyone confused and sure there is more to it, so how will she plead for the rest of the charges?
Manpreet disappears after facing killer sister in court
Although Manpreet puts on a brave face as she awaits Meena's plea hearing, the stress of the situation eventually becomes too much as ITV spoilers reveal she makes a dash for it.
Whie Charles and Liam aren’t tasked with taking to the stand, Manpreet learns she will have to testify against her sister.
The task proves to be too much as Manpreet's worries get the best of her and she suffers a panic attack as a result of all the pressure.
In sheer distress, and evidently still coping with the trauma of being held captive by Meena, Manpreet jumps into her car and sets off, hoping the drive will calm her down.
But Manpreet instead abandons her phone and her vehicle, disappearing into the night without warning, leaving the villagers concerned at her unexplained absence.

Newlywed Dawn arrested as ex Alex lands her in trouble
Dawn Taylor is set to suffer more strife next week as her ex Alex Moore arrives in the village after she decides to take the first step in the adoption process and text him.
Dawn and Billy drive to his house and nervously broach the subject of Billy adopting Lucas - only for Alex to accept the proposal - but there's a catch.
Alex later appears from the dark and pulls up outside Woodbine and as Dawn secretly meets him outside, she knows something is wrong.
Her worries are confirmed when Alex demands that she deal drugs for him, in order to pay off his debts, and in return he agrees to Lucas’ adoption.
Dawn hides Alex’s blackmail from a wary Harriet and Billy, and as a result struggles to share in their excitement over the adoption.
Under immense pressure, Dawn’s deceit ramps up a notch when she attempts to steal from Home Farm in order to pay Alex’s debts - only to be caught red-handed by Kim Tate.
With the walls closing in around her, Dawn realises that her task may be more dangerous than she originally thought when she meets Alex’s dealer.
Just as the meeting concludes, the trio are interrupted by a police car and Dawn ends up being guided into the back of it.
Has Alex set her up on purpose? And will Billy stand by his new wife when he finds out what she's been up to?
Noah uses Amelia leaving her heartbroken
Elsewhere next week on the soap, Noah Dingle flirts with an over-enamoured Amelia Spencer for Chloe Atkinson’s benefit, but is left frustrated when Chloe turns her attention to Jacob instead.
Meanwhile, Samson’s crush on Amelia deepens and as the drinks flow at a party hosted by Cathy, Noah plans to use Amelia to make Chloe jealous. He enlists disapproving Samson to keep Cathy busy whilst he does so.
However, when the truth of what he is up to soon comes out, Amelia is left heartbroken.
A vulnerable Amelia reluctantly tells her concerned family about her encounter with Noah but is left embarrassed when Kerry intervenes.
