Emmerdale fans can expect huge changes on the show next week, in the lead up to the ITV soap's 50th anniversary.
One character will make a big mistake following a recent tragedy, as he beds another woman after a row with his partner.

Amelia flees the village?
New ITV spoilers reveal that the week gets off to a good start when Amelia (Daisy Campbell) is warmed by Noah Dingle’s support, who’s determined to be there for her - despite not being the father of her unborn child. Amelia is delighted when she and Noah (Jack Downham) make their relationship official - but not everyone is over the moon.
Worried that Dan ( Liam Fox ) will never accept Noah, Amelia asks him to run away with her to London. However, she's left devastated when Noah decides not to join her but she remains hellbent on going through with it anyway. Can Noah convince her to stay?
Naomi 'exposed' as Nicola's attacker
Emmerdale airs a twist next week, as Naomi Walters' secret appears to be exposed - as well as her major link to another villager. Nicola King is shocked as she meets the newcomer for the first time, only to suspect they've met before.
A few clues, according to spoilers, appear to expose Naomi as being at the scene where Nicola was attacked earlier this year. Nicola was taunted and beaten up by a group of young girls, and left bloodied and bruised on the floor.
Since then, Nicola has wanted justice after struggling to recover from her ordeal. Next week, it seems she finally comes face-to-face with one of the girls who were there that day, and it's a familiar face. As Naomi approaches Nicola in the café, Nicola is immediately panicked when she recognises Naomi's voice as being one of the girls.
Not only that, but she also recognises Naomi's trainers as those belonging to the girl who stood over her as she was barely conscious on the ground.But is Naomi about to be revealed as one of the attackers, or someone who stood by and watched it happen without helping her? Or will it be a case of mistaken identity as shoes aren't really enough to prove she was there?
Mack cheats on Charity
Things look set to go from bad to worse for Charity Dingle on Emmerdale next week. New ITV spoilers reveal that Charity's boyfriend Mackenzie Boyd will cheat on her with a fellow villager shortly after their baby heartbreak.
Last week, viewers were left feeling emotional as Charity (Emma Atkins) suffered an ectopic pregnancy and she and Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb) were forced to make the decision to terminate the pregnancy. In scenes that will play out next week, Mackenzie struggles to think of a way to tell Charity his true feelings about having children and decides to take her to a wellness retreat.
While there, Mack shares that he wants to try for another baby but when Charity storms off, Mack knows he’s mucked up. Charity’s adamant that trying for another baby is off the table but Mackenzie refuses to give up on the idea.
Unable to settle their differences, Mackenzie is hurt when wretched Charity insists that if he wants to have a baby, it won’t be with her; she directs him to go and try elsewhere. Later, after opening up to Moira, Charity is intent on fixing things with Mack but is totally unaware that he’s in bed with a mysterious woman.
Sandra targets Vinny
Emmerdale villain Sandra Flaherty targets Vinny Dingle next week on the ITV soap, amid her cruel plan against her own daughter Liv. Ahead of the return of Liv's brother Aaron Dingle later this year, the character is set for heartache it seems due to her mum's meddling.
Not only is Sandra targeting Liv, seeming to want to steal all her money, but she's also trying to tear apart her marriage to Vinny in the process. Fresh from trying to make Liv believe there could be something going on between her husband and her best friend Gabby Thomas, Sandra also tried to put doubts in her daughter's mind over her asexuality.
Next week, she continues to try and drive the couple apart, and to distance Liv from one of her closest pals.
