Emmerdale spoiler: Murder fallout unveiled as Chas' lies come under threat

Emmerdale will air further fallout from the shock murder of Al Chapman on the ITV soap, after it was revealed 10-year-old Kyle Winchester killed him.

Cain Dingle's ( Jeff Hordley ) young son was revealed to be the true killer of his arch enemy Al ( Michael Wildman ) on Friday night, after Cain pled guilty following his arrest.

Cain and Al had been locked in a barn fist fight last week, as Cain blasted his enemy for conducting an affair with sister Chas.

Soap viewers had been speculating all week who might have pulled the trigger, as the moment was never shown on screen.

However, fans have since been shown the moment Al died in special flashback scenes, as his killer Kyle relived the horrifying murder.

New ITV spoilers have revealed that next week sees Chas Dingle struggling to keep it together in the village.

The storyline kicks off as Chas is left thrown when Kerry reveals Al’s funeral is to take place the following day, asking if she’ll consider accompanying her.

The following day, Kerry is understanding when Chas explains she needs to attend Liv’s send off instead of Al’s funeral.

As Vinny shakily opens Liv’s urn, ready to let her go, Chas is wracked with grief as she pushes Paddy away.

In later scenes, Kerry is still reeling from the betrayal, but finds support from Chas of all people, who – with a guilty conscience – encourages her to make a big decision.

Could the truth of Chas and Al’s affair be on the verge of being revealed to all?

This comes after Cain faced a plea hearing, as the Dingles gathered at the court and were left stunned when he pleaded guilty, with the judge warning him there would definitely be a custodial sentence.

Reeling from the news, Moira came home and had a heated conversation with Amy and Mackenzie as her kids watched on.

Seeing how much it upset them, she rushed to the prison, asking for an emergency meeting with Cain.

An angry Moira told him he wasn't able to make those decisions now he was in prison, but Cain insisted.

She went to leave, but he pulled her back and warned her not to. He said there would be far reaching consequences if she did and continued to press her and ask about Kyle and how he was doing and if he was ok.

"You can't let Kyle speak to anyone," he said, as she asked why. Cain then revealed who had killed Al – explaining why he had allowed his arrest, and why he had pleaded guilty.

"Because it was him Moira. I didn't shoot Al, Kyle did," he told a stunned Moira.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV.
