Emmerdale actress Katie Hill, who plays Sarah Sugen, was left shocked after being told to go home from the ITV studios on Tuesday.
The young star has been part of the ITV hit soap since 2017 playing the role of Debbie Dingle and Andy Sugden’s daughter.
Kate, who is the fifth actress to play Sarah, was caught in a work schedule mixed up.

The 19-year-old shared the awkward moment with her Instagram followers - she turned up for work only to be told she shouldn't have.
Sharing a snap of the studios on her Instagram story at 7.10am, she said: "Not me turning up to work at 7am to be told I'm not even in today,” and added a facepalm emoji.
The Emmerdale cast do not have to go to work every day that filming takes place as they're given a certain number of episodes per year.
Her character has been involved in a number of intense scenes despite her character's young age.

In the fictional soap, Sarah has already endured more trauma than most will in a lifetime as she spent most of her life in and out of hospital while battling a devastating diagnosis.
Thankfully, the actress has a much happier life which she often shares with her 60.1k Instagram followers.
