Emmerdale aired the moment Will Taylor learned the truth about Harriet Finch's death on Friday, and he had a lot of apologising to do to Kim Tate.
Will blamed his new wife Kim for Harriet's death this week, after accusing her of murdering her and making it look like an accident.
Harriet's numerous attempts to steal Will off Kim, despite Will wanting to be with his new bride, made her a target.
But the love rivals did make some amends on the wedding day when Harriet realised she'd lost Will for good, and apologised to Kim.
Tragedy struck though during the storm, when Harriet crashed her quad bike and it landed on top of her, causing serious injuries.
Kim found her injured and tried to save her, but the bike exploded when it was struck by lightning, sending both of them flying.
While Kim was injured, she made it home where she informed Will and their loved ones of Harriet's death.
Immediately, and in the fallout, Will blamed Kim for killing Harriet and suggested she was a "monster".
Kim protested and revealed what had happened and how she stayed with Harriet before trying to get help.
But Will told her they were over and instead accused her of killing his ex, with Kim soon wanting him gone.
On Friday, Will came across Dan Spencer in the village, with Dan being Harriet's new love interest.
It's then that Dan explained how he'd found Harriet dead in the woods while searching for his missing daughter Amelia.
Dan revealed she was seriously injured and could not be saved, before dropping the news about the post-mortem results.
He explained that her cause of death was confirmed as being linked to the crash and the explosion and that she likely died instantly from the blast.
While it wasn't clear if her injuries would have killed her had the blast not happened, Dan said the fireball caused fatal trauma.
Will headed home to speak to Kim, and detailed the findings and how he'd learned she was telling the truth the whole time.
But Kim was furious that it took the results for her to be believed, and hinted things were over for them for good.
After heart-to-heart though, both of them discussed their feelings and how they could move forward, before reuniting.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV and ITV Hub, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
