Sammy Winward has more in common with her daughter than their beautiful blonde hair and stunning looks.
The former Emmerdale star is celebrating after her girl Mia, who turns 16 next week, signed with an acting agent to officially follow in her footsteps.
Sammy, known for played Katie Sugden in the ITV soap, took to Instagram to share her pride by unveiling Mia's new professional headshot.
She wrote alongside the snap: "16 next week @miawinwarddunn following in my footsteps (even though she’s a better actress then I ever was at that age!) with a new agent @scream_management, a new headshot by the amazing Colin Boulter @neilson_photo_actors and entering into the crazy world of acting."
Her thoughts about her offspring were echoed by the photographer, who commented: "She’s amazing to work with and as deep as a well. A total enigma who will keep the audience in suspense and glued to the screen"
"Erm ... WOW," one fan commented on the beautiful picture.
While another wrote: "So beautiful".
Sammy has wowed fans a few times by sharing snaps of herself and her daughter together - although she doesn't post them very often.
Defying her 35 years, the actress looks more like a sister to her 15-year-old than her mum.
The last picture of the duo came on Christmas Day as they joined forces to send their best wishes to Sammy's fans.
The gorgeous pair looked so alike that it's hard to believe there's 20 years between them.
She shared another back in September last year, as the two blonde beauties posed up following a heated debate.
Sammy joked in the caption: "looking calm/arguing who’s holding the camera so their head doesn’t look the biggest! I won! Soz Mimi"
Sammy shares Mia with ex-fiancé David Dunn, who she split from in 2005, just months after Mia was born.
After leaving Emmerdale in 2015, Sammy went on to appear in TV series Prey and mini-series Fearless.
She also starred in movie Lies We Tell in 2017.
Mia doesn't appear to have made any announcements about her new career on her own page just yet, although she has shared her stunning headshot on her Instagram story, tagging her famous mum in the post.
She's also added a link to her management's profile in her bio.
