Emmerdale star Olivia Bromley has opened up about the dramatic stunts she filmed with co-star Jay Kontzle during their action-packed week on the ITV soap.
Olivia and Jay's characters Dawn Taylor and Billy Fletcher will finally tie the knot but their happy day will quickly turn into a living nightmare after they are kidnapped by Meena Jutla, writes The Mirror.
They will be tortured by the serial killer before Billy is forced to choose whether he or Dawn will die at her hands.
Meena has already claimed at least four lives - so far.
Opening up about the dramatic scenes, Olivia told our sister paper The Mirror: "I have to wear a harness underneath my wedding dress - that's unbelievably uncomfortable. Not only to breathe in but to move in. And to be in a wedding dress in January on a viaduct wasn't one of the most comfortable filming experiences, basically.
"But we've had a lot of fun, haven't we, Jay? It's been a good laugh. I'm quite excited for the next [few weeks]. We just have a good time when we're filming a story like this. Even when it's really high drama, it's a perfect soap story. Every actor wants to do this kind of thing and the three of us have had a good time."
Jay added: "My harness, they tried keeping it on me because they're holding you and say, 'Leave it on, Jay.' Because it's literally like a dog collar. I was like, it's not even that far down! But they wouldn't take it off. I think I even went to lunch with it on!"
He went on to admit that he finds it "frightening" watching his co-star Paige Sandhu transform into killer Meena.
Jay said: "We were talking about method acting and stuff like that and obviously Paige doesn't do that. But she gets herself into that character and it's quite inspiring to watch and watch her develop into Meena because she carries the character so well and it's the complete opposite to how she actually is.
"She's not that type of person one bit, she smashes the role and it's very interesting to see her do it. You do actually feel scared of her. You do actually have that fear inside that she's actually quite frightening.
"But she's so embedded with that role she's got so many different pointers and that. She communicates with the director really well. She's a fantastic actress."
*Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm on ITV, with additional episodes at 8pm on Thursdays
