Emmerdale star Mark Charnock has taken to Twitter to thank a fellow soap land star after she praised his performance.
The 53-year-old actor, who is best known for his role as Marlon Dingle on the long running ITV soap, is currently at the heart of a major storyline after his character suffered from a stroke.
Emmerdale viewers have praised the actor for Marlon Dingle's “powerful” storyline after he suffered a huge stroke in a devastating scene that recently aired.
Viewers were more than impressed with the scene and praised soap actor Mark Charnock for raising awareness on strokes and portraying the role as real as possible.
And his dedication to his role hasn't gone unnoticed by other actors too.
Georgia Taylor,who is best known for her role in soaps such as Coronation Street and Casualty, credited Mark for the work he has done in the role of Emmerdale's Marlon Dingle.
The 42-year-old actor took to Twitter to share her praise, stating that certain actors can be taken for granted and feels it is “especially” soap actors who fall victim to this attitude.
She added that it was “glorious” to see fellow soaps stars doing very well, among whom included Mark Charnock.
Georgia's tweet read: “When actors are consistently brilliant and understated they can fall under the radar/be taken for granted. Especially in Soaps.
“So it’s glorious to see @markcharnock @ZoeHenry03 @dominicbrunt firmly in the spotlight.
“They are doing such beautiful, tender, work and being appreciated.”
A humble Mark replied saying: “This is very kind and very lovely. Thanks so much, Georgia. X”
Mark’s 186,000 followers were quick to jump on the most and share their own praise.
