Emmerdale's Manpreet Sharma actress Rebecca Sarker has paid an emotional tribute to her on-screen sister.
Evil Meena will now spend 75 years in prison for her heinous crimes, suggesting actress Paige Sandhu will leave the long-running ITV soap. While Meena tried to kill Manpreet in the show, the stars are close in real life.
The pair have formed a close bond in the two years they've shared together in the fictional Yorkshire village. After Meena's final episode aired, Rebecca posted a series of emotional snaps on Instagram.

Two photos posted on Tuesday show the two together during prison scenes. One snap shows the "sisters" posing for the camera, while another shows Rebecca clinging to Paige tightly.
Captioning the post, Rebecca said: "The way I'm clinging to her gorgeous head [sad face emoji] ...I really didn't want to let her go @paige_sandhu @emmerdale #manpreet #meena #sisters". Paige commented almost instantly, saying: "Awww!!! We’re so cute".
Rebecca also uploaded one of the photos to her Instagram story. She said: "I'm not crying, you're crying.". Paige shared a photo on her own feed, and said: "The love is real".
Fans were loving the interaction. Taking to the comments section, Amanda Tyler said: "The cutest duo".
Matthew Whitehead said: "You & Paige have been fantastic in the Meena storyline, fingers crossed you both get nominated at the British soap awards xx". Amy Louise Jackman said: "Bless you, both worked so well together".
