Emmerdale's Kerry Wyatt's exit 'sealed' as Al Chapman murder twist 'rumbled'

Emmerdale fans are convinced another character is set to exit the ITV soap very soon, following the death of Al Chapman.

Amid speculation Cain Dingle could be set to leave the soap, after his arrest for Al's murder, fans are predicting it will be someone else that goes down for the crime.

Kerry Wyatt was devastated when she found her boyfriend Al's lifeless and bloodied body in the barn, with Cain stood nearby wielding a shotgun.

She wasted no time in telling police officers everything, and promised Cain would pay for what he had done.

But amid shock from fans over tragic Al's real name, other viewers were predicting there was another twist on the way that could stop Cain going to prison.

Viewers have speculated Cain or someone else will instead frame Kerry for the crime, with actress Laura Norton set to go on maternity leave at some point after welcoming her second child last month.

Fans believe this could be her exit storyline, and that Cain, or "the real killer", could get away with it.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer said: "Cain is gonna pin the blame on Kerry saying she found out about Al cheating, and she will be arrested and sent down paving way for her exit storyline/maternity leave."

Meanwhile, another said: "Ooh maybe Cain will pin it on Kerry? Laura Norton must be due to take maternity leave soon."

"Is Cain going out of Emmerdale as well?? #Emmerdale," tweeted a second.

A third added: "If Cain is leaving I’m actually done watching. I can't lose Cain and Aaron in the same week #Emmerdale."
