Former Emmerdale star Joe Gill has had a dramatic transformation five years on from leaving his role as Finn Barton in the ITV soap.
Acting star Joe, 28, played Finn in Emmerdale from 2013 until 2017. Fans might recall, Joe’s character was killed off.
Finn died after being accidentally shot by Emma Barton. Despite going to hospital he sadly died.

Joe’s character Finn was often seen sporting thick-rimmed glasses and shirts. Although, he looks a little different five years on away from Emmerdale.
In a recent Instagram post, celebrating his birthday, Joe was seen out for a country walk in khaki trousers, a beanie and a pair of walking boots. You can see the photo of how he looks now below:
When he left Emmerdale, Joe paid tribute to his colleagues and fans of the soap. Joe said: “The four years I have spent in Emmerdale have been the best of my life and I couldn't have asked for better people to be around.
“Thank you so much to the production team, the crew, the cast and of course my on-screen family. It is something I will always look at with great pride when I think of the show and the character I played.
"And thank you to the viewers for your constant support. It has meant so much.”
Since leaving Emmerdale, the acting star has enjoyed a number of varied roles. He has appeared in Run, Wuthering Heights and Trickster.
