Emmerdale's James Hooton said he may not be taking the coronavirus vaccine.
He's well recognised for his role of Sam Dingle in Emmerdale, a character he has played since 1995.
The soap star, 47, took to Twitter to share his controversial view that he may not get the jab on Thursday.
James tried to reassure his fans' fears he takes a number of vitamins, regular exercise and eats a varied diet.
The government have strongly advised everyone takes the coronavirus vaccine, however it isn't against the law to refuse it.
He wrote: "I’m 47yrs old. I take Vit c,d, zinc, b-12, Q10 and anti virals such as Andrographis, Sambucus, Curcumin, Along with regular exercise and a varied diet.
"I may not be taking a Covid vaccine. I may be labelled “anti vaxer” for being pro immune system, pro informed choice."
The actor appeared to have no qualms sharing his controversial views online.
His decision certainly divided fans on social media who rushed to share their opinion.
Some fans even begged the TV star to reconsider his decision for the "sake of others".
Among the comments, fans wrote: "Please take the vaccine for the sake of others."
"James, although I understand your personal thoughts on the vaccine, please, please, please have it for other peoples sake and to keep them safe."
"There’s a lot of people who died unnecessarily of covid and who would have liked the opportunity to have had the vaccine. If you’re making the choice not to have it, that’s a personal decision and should be respected, but making a statement about it is kind of unnecessary."
"I was anti until I worked a shift in ICU treating former healthy and fit 50 year olds....that sadly didnt make it.."
