Emmerdale's Joe Warren-Plant has teased that Jacob could be the one to bring down Meena Jutla.
The evil serial killer has murdered four people - her friend Nadine, Andrea Tate, Leanna Cavanagh and Ben Tucker - and after holding her sister Manpreet Sharma and Vinny Dingle hostage last week, she managed to escape and flee to Scotland.
Joe was left heartbroken when Leanna died and has always suspected Meena knew more than she was letting on, leaving him even more angry and frustrated when he found out the truth.
Now Joe has insisted Jacob could see red if he crosses paths with Meena again.
"It’s hard to say as Jacob, deep down, is a gentle and caring person. However, Meena has put him through hell and it’s really took a toll on his mental health. I think if it came down to it and they had a standoff Jacob wouldn’t hold back at all," he explained to Metro.co.uk.
"But his emotions always seem to get the better of him and force Jacob into situations he ends up regretting. I believe he would be more satisfied knowing she would be spending the rest of her life behind bars."
Joe says Jacob is also worried Meena could strike again.
He added: "For Jacob to know that she killed Leanna, Andrea and Ben and has now fled the country he is filled with anxiety knowing there is a chance she could get away with it all.
"There is also a possibility of her ruining more lives elsewhere and that’s a thought that keeps Jacob up at night, worrying."
It comes after show bosses teased "judgement day" for Meena soon.
"I think it's fair to say that judgement day for Meena is coming. But whether she'll get away with murder you're going to have to wait and find out," executive producer Jane Hudson teased to The Mirror and other press.
"There are still some more twists and turns to be had in this story. Some that you probably won't see coming but I think we can all agree that Meena can pretty much do anything."
She added: "But yes, Meena's judgement day is coming. It won't play out quite as you expect, there will be a lasting effect on a lot of the villagers but I think within the next few months, Meena will get what's coming with her."
