Emmerdale's Cain Dingle is left fearing for his mother Faith next week when she randomly attacks him with a frying pan.
New ITV spoilers reveal that Faith ( Sally Dexter ) will lash out at her family after she realises she's not allowed to look after her grandchildren any more.
Faith decides to plot a way to see her grandchildren without supervision and ends up surprising Kyle and Sarah with a chameleon she has stolen from the local vets.
Faith panics when the chameleon escapes and soon Al Chapman ( Michael Wildman ) is astonished to see the reptile join him at the bar.
With the chameleon returned, Cain ( Jeff Hordley ) and Chas (Lucy Pargeter) are unhappy with Faith’s stunt but their hearts break for her when she begs them not to stop her making more memories with her grandchildren.
Faith’s resigned when Chas and Cain stick to their guns about Faith looking after the grandchildren, and she's left tormented to think this is yet another thing being taken away from her.
The fiery character is scared when all signs point to her having to relinquish control of her own life as the illness takes a hold of her.
Chas understands but is stung when Faith announces she wants Cain to have lasting power of attorney after she decides on a DNR.
Things are bleak as the siblings contemplate the idea of Faith not being able to make her own decisions anymore.
Whilst looking at the power of attorney registration form, Cain decides to ask Ethan Anderson for some advice.
Later on, Cain arrives to see Faith as he wants to finalise the details of her dying wishes, but the conversation soon turns violent.
The details of the chat cause Faith to become distressed and confused as she thinks Cain is actually her ex-husband Shadrach.
Cain’s shocked when his mother brandishes a frying pan and screams for him to get away. Will she end up attacking him? And what will it mean for Faith's care going forward?
