Emmerdale actor Dominic Brunt has spoken out about his “uncomfortable” storyline with co-star Lucy Pargeter, who plays Chas. The soap star has also told about his career away from Emmerdale.
The soap is currently going through a dramatic storyline as his fictional character Paddy Kirk recently found out that his wife Chas was cheating on him.
Paddy and Chas have been in a long-term relationship however Chas began having an affair with Al Chapman earlier this year.

The pair ended up falling in love but Al was killed before the pair could embark on their new life together. The whole village now knows about their cheating secret and Emmerdale viewers have now turned on Chas.
However Paddy actor Dominic appeared on ITV’s Loose Woman and revealed that the storyline makes him feel “uncomfortable”.
The star appeared on ITV's show to talk about his latest venture away from Emmerdale. He previously directed a film titled Wolf Manor, which took a total of three and a half weeks to film and admitted that it required his full attention.
Talk soon turned to his current storyline on Emmerdale, speaking about filming with on-screen wife Chas he said: “It was uncomfortable because Lucy is my friend and screaming in her face is not very nice.”
Dominic also reflected on his 26 years on the soap as he revealed he was only supposed to play a short part.
He joked: "I think they just kept forgetting to write me out. I never in my wildest dreams thought that I'd be able to stay there." When asked if he prefers acting in Emmerdale or directing films, Dominic said: "My loyalties lie with Emmerdale, they really do. I'm happy with Emmerdale and I love Emmerdale."
