Emmerdale fans were forced to say goodbye to iconic character Diane Sugden in last night's episode but many noticed something odd about her departure.
While viewers were left feeling emotional after the stalwart Elizabeth Estensen departed the ITV soap after two decades, others were disappointed with her final scenes.
Elizabeth, 72, was involved in some of the show’s major storylines, she had a memorable marriage to Jack Sugen and was landlady of The Woodpack.

In her final episode which aired on Friday, October 30, Diane left the village after 22 years as she headed to Portugal to enjoy a new life in the sun.
However, her exit was delayed when Gabby gave birth in last night's episode.
And of course, in true Diane style the episode wasn't without a dose of drama as one final disagreement between Diane and Kim Tate aired.
Tense scenes saw the two women negotiating terms that meant Gabby would stay - so she could remain close to her new grandson.
Diane agreed as long as Kim gave up 20 per cent of her fortune to help Gabby raise the child - and the two reached a deal.
The Emmerdale legends have often been at loggerheads throughout their time on the show, but they departed on good terms as Kim paid for Diane to leave the village in a Rolls Royce as the iconic character said goodbye to Emmerdale for good.
Fans of the show took to Twitter to say how much they'd miss Diane Sugden in the show.
Paul said: "Diane will really be missed. She was incredible right from the beginning.
Carole added: "Great exit for #Diane! Elizabeth Estensen will be missed."
Amelia commented: "Feel like a piece of Emmerdale has been ripped away with Diane leaving."
Rosie posted: "Farewell Diane Emmerdale isn’t going be the same without you."
However, some fans pointed out Diane was unable to hug her fellow co-stars due to social distancing measures enforced on the show.
One user said: "The biggest social distancing send off I’ve ever seen come they could have least pretended to hug as they’re never seeing her again."
Chris added: "Well that was an appalling send off I mean no kisses and hugs ? Pathetic."
Traylor added: "No one could even hug Diane."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
