Emmerdale's Danny Miller teases new TV show role with ITV

Emmerdale fans were left devastated when Danny Miller left the dales in 2021 to pursue other avenues.

The 30-year-old actor, who played the role of Aaron Dingle for 13 years, said his goodbyes back in December as his on screen character struggled to cope after the loss of his partner Ben Tucker.

The much-loved actor was as emotional as his army of fans as he shared clips of himself in tears as he left the set of the ITV soap for the last time.

Danny went on to appear in I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! shortly after winning the hearts of the nation and becoming King of the Castle.

The new dad stated his reason for leaving was to explore other career options and spend more time with his son Albert.

And it seems the soap star won't be off our screens for much longer as he teased a new TV role in his latest Instagram story.

Danny shared a series of videos with his 708k followers on Friday, February, 4 alongside his partner Steph as they travelled into Manchester to film a mystery project.

Ever the charmer, Danny panned the camera to his fiance, who looked glammed up, and commented on her appearance before revealing the exciting news.

He said: "Steph and I... look at her, gorgeous Stephanie.

"We are going today into Manchester, to film something very exciting.

"Don't wanna say too much. Might be able to catch it on Monday. Might be able to catch it on ITV."

Before joking that he couldn't say any more as he might "lose the contract" and he has "bills to pay."

Danny continued: "We all need to pay our bills, don't we? So stand by and stay tuned."

The childhood sweathearts who welcomed their first child together last year are currently planning their wedding after Danny proposed to his long term girlfriend while on holiday in St Lucia back last January.
