Emmerdale 's Chloe Harris stuns a village resident next week, as she makes a confession about the real father of her baby son Reuben.
Chloe confesses who is really the father of her newborn, and drops the news on her sister Amy Wyatt.
Amy is stunned to find out who Chloe slept with, leading to her falling pregnant last year - amid baby Reuben's health battle.
Back in the village, the secret unravels and tears one couple apart as Charity Dingle finally finds out about her husband Mackenzie Boyd's betrayal.
Up until now, Charity has remained in the dark about Mack's one-night stand with Chloe last year, and the fact Chloe fell pregnant.
Chloe recently welcomed her baby son, but this week fans have seen baby Reuben's health take a turn for the worse.
At the hospital, Amy remains unaware of the truth as she visits her sister and her new nephew who was rushed to hospital this week.
Chloe breaks the news to her that Mack is his father, and Amy can’t believe what Chloe’s done - but will she support her sibling?
The truth does finally come out this week for Charity, and on Tuesday night Mackenzie dropped the biggest hint ever that he was the father.
During the episode, Charity learned family friend Chloe was at the hospital with her baby son after doctors told her he likely had bacterial meningitis.
Reuben was placed on a ventilator, and attempts to take him off of the machine on Tuesday night led to more worrying news.
Chloe was informed Reuben wasn't coping off of the ventilator and that his blood pressure had dramatically dropped, so they had to put him back onto the breathing support.
As updates filtered around the village, his secret father Mack was clearly struggling and hit the booze to numb his pain.
Mack was seen fighting back tears and shaking as he learned about Reuben possibly being at death's door, and he couldn't even hide his turmoil.
He then went to the pub and continued to down booze before calling out Dan Spencer in bizarre scenes.
As Amy and Dan discussed Reuben's health and hoped he would be okay, Mack began to slam Dan for being positive in front of a puzzled Charity.
As Dan asked what his problem was, Mack got up and punched him before storming out - leaving Charity and Amy shocked by his reaction.
With the secret coming out in just a few episodes, it seems Mack's odd behaviour and sudden concern for baby Reuben will be the thing that gives his lies away to Charity.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
