Charley Webb has revealed her son's latest haircut after cruel trolls said he 'looks like a girl'.
The Emmerdale actress recently hit back at critics who made comments about three-year-old Bowie's long hair.
The 31-year-old posted on Instagram to shame the people who had said her eldest boys, Buster, nine, and three-year-old Bowie, "looked like girls" because of their locks.
Charley, who plays Debbie Dingle in the ITV soap, took a snap of Buster wearing a T-shirt that reads "Long hair don't care #Boy."
She added: "I get asked so many times on here why my kids have got long hair.
"'Why don't you cut it?' Or, 'They look like girls'. The answer is really simple, because we like it, and more importantly, they like it.
"I absolutely don't feel like I need to explain it to anyone who has an opinion, but I just think life would be so much easier if we all just focused on our own lives. Don't let my kids' hair worry you."
Charley then told her followers that those who judge others' style of parenting should "keep their opinions to themselves", adding: "If you've got nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all."
She said: "I think people think they have a right to have an opinion because of social media. Maybe you do.
"But try keeping it to yourself, it's not important to us what you think about how our kids look. Or how we look. Or their names, or whatever it is you might want to comment on.
"There's enough awful stuff in the world without being mean to each other.
"They've got another t shirt that says, I'm a boy, I've just got better hair than you. True dat."
However, Charley has since taken to Instagram to share a snap of Bowie with a short haircut.
She wrote: "Hair cut=cute face visible. Bowie 3 years and 10 months".
Fans responded to Charley, with many saying they will miss Bowie's long hair.
One said : "Ah I loved his hair long, but if he is happy and was his choice all good."
River said: "Your kids hair looks beautiful long or short however they want it."
And Maura wrote: "Long hair or short your boys are beautiful."
