Emmerdale's Charity to go to extreme lengths to win Vanessa back after near kiss

Emmerdale 's Charity Dingle looks set to go to extreme measures to ensure she can win back her former flame Vanessa Woodfield.

The two women came very close to kissing during Thursday night's episode, but by Friday, Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) was clearly regretting what happened.

Despite receiving numerous texts from Charity (Emma Atkins), Vanessa ignored her and ended up feeling really guilty when she bumped into Mackenzie Boyd.

Mack (Lawrence Robb) was down in the dumps after being fired by Charity for sabotaging the day of The Woolpack relaunch.

Vanessa could see just how much Mack loves Charity and advised him to go after her and to make things right.

"You really love her don't you? Maybe this is the moment to show her how much you need her," Vanessa told him.

"Everything went wrong for her yesterday, she needs to know that you're the one who's gonna help her put her life back together."

Later on in the pub, Charity found out that Mack and Vanessa had been seen having an "intense conversation" - and she started to panic.

As she ran outside, Vanessa just so happened to be walking past and Charity thought she had come to see her.

"No, I was just passing," Vanessa told her bluntly, as Charity replied: "Well Jai said you've had a long chat with Mackenzie?"

"Yeah he was upset," Vanessa told her, as Charity asked: "What? Because you told him about us?"

"No, I didn't because there was nothing to tell!" Vanessa fired back.

"Come on, you know that's not true!" Charity said looking gutted.

"Whatever it was, it's best forgotten. There's more important things you should think about," Vanessa told her.

"He really loves you, he is terrified of losing you. I think you should give him your chance. I'm sorry Charity, but that's how I feel," she added, referring to Mack.

As Vanessa walked off, Charity shouted: "You can't just pretend last night didn't happen!"

She then muttered under her breath: "I will never give up on us," which means she could go to extreme lengths to win back Vanessa.

Predicting what they think will happen, one viewer tweeted: "charity could not care any less for mack and i am SO here for it #emmerdale."

Another posted: "Literally less than 24 hours ago Vanessa & Charity actually almost kissed. With Vanessa even leaning it & saying there was still so much she wanted to say. Yet tonight she's totally telling Mac to fight for Charity? Clearly things are far from over with her & Charity."

A third viewer claimed: "Vanessa you know you love Charity. Stop pushing for Mack and Charity to get back together when we know that is not what you really want #Vanity #Emmerdale."
