Emmerdale's Charity Dingle actress Emma Atkins teased that her current storyline will come to a "devastating" end.
The soap star appeared on ITV's This Morning to chat to hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby all about the latest goings-on in the fictional village. Charity has gone above and beyond to support Chloe but she is still unaware that her fiancé Mack is the father of her unborn baby.
In recent episodes, Charity was interrupted by a mysterious phone call by someone who asked if they were speaking to Charity Dingle. Charity’s face dropped as she was given some information and some viewers think Mack’s secret has been exposed.

Phil joked the only situation he could think of to save the on-screen relationship would be if Mackenzie said: "We were on a break" just like Ross in Friends.
Emma agreed as she said: "That is so true. And actually Charity gave him his marching orders so in some respect he hasn't done anything wrong. But we will see, when it comes out it's going to be devastating for all of them really."
She added Charity is keen to help Chloe out, without knowing the truth. Emma said: "I think with Charity's historical abuse in the past and having had a child at 13, it resonates with her, Chloe's situation. So I think more of the suspense is going to build in that way."
Emma also hinted that the mysterious phone call will be a key part in the storyline, bringing a huge twist. She said: "Charity gets a phone call that blows her sideways, obviously I can't tell you what it is but it is going to be gargantuan."
