Emmerdale star Ash Palmisciano shared an emotional tribute following the death of his mum.
Ash, who plays Matty Barton in the ITV soap, shared a photo with his parents on Instagram. He captioned the post: "Still can’t believe you’re not with us mum, I’m just starting every day like you did…with a good cuppa, hope, love and positivity!
"My biggest inspiration and role model, I miss you every day #Micki #MyMum."

Ash's followers and friends commented on his post and sent their condolences. Dean Andrews said: "Much love mate."
Emile John said: " Sending all the love to you and your family bro."
Michelle Hardwick added: " So much love to you all."
Fiona Wade said: " So much love to you darling."
And Bhasker Patel said: "We are sending all our love."
Ash joined Emmerdale in 2018 as the show's first transgender character. Matty, born Hannah, is Moira Barton's son. Prior to his first appearance, Matty said: "I’m very excited to be joining the very welcoming Emmerdale family.
"From nervous auditions to now working alongside the team daily has been truly amazing. Matty’s a groundbreaking character to play and I can’t wait to see what’s ahead for him."
