Emmerdale has revealed new details surrounding when Amelia Spencer fell pregnant, and when the teen could give birth if she goes ahead with the pregnancy.
The teenager, 15, found out last week she was expecting a baby, while it has yet to be revealed who the father is.
On Tuesday night, Amelia had an appointment at the hospital to discuss being booked in for an abortion.
The doctor she spoke to advised she needed to have an ultrasound, and that she might be too far gone in her pregnancy to have the procedure.
She was relieved though when the doctor told her she was mid-way through the second trimester, while she didn't specify how many weeks she was.
The doctor revealed she was within the permitted dates to have the procedure so could be booked in, having previously worried she was past the legal cut-off of 23 weeks and 6 days.
If Amelia is mid-way through trimester two, this means she could be around 21 to 22 weeks pregnant, meaning her due date could be between the end of November and the first week of December of this year.
Of course this means if Amelia has a full-term pregnancy, she won't be giving birth during the October anniversary episodes as some fans have predicted, and will instead give birth closer to the end of the year.
Viewers took all the information in and questioned whether there was a Christmas baby storyline on the way - whether that be the birth, or the paternity reveal.
Taking to Twitter, one fan said: "So she will keep the baby and that’s the Christmas storyline."
Another agreed: "We need a Christmas baby... But why Amelia?" as a third added: "My moneys on her keeping the baby, we’ll have a Christmas birth."
It also seems to suggest Amelia fell pregnant around March time - and early March saw Noah Dingle using her to make Chloe Harris jealous, while Samson Dingle also expressed an interest in Amelia at this time.
It comes after earlier in the year, soap boss Jane Hudson hinted a baby would arrive during the soap's 50th anniversary in October.
While it was thought she was referring to the birth happening around the celebration episodes, she did say towards "the end of the year" so perhaps it will be later.
Speaking to The Mirror and other press, Jane teased: "There will be a new baby arriving in Emmerdale before the end of the year.
"I think that's not giving anything away as there are so many female characters in the show, but there will be a new arrival before the year is out. There's probably going to be a birth in the anniversary month perhaps!"
With no other character currently pregnant on the show, it would seem Amelia could keep the baby and the spoiler is about her.
But is there another baby twist on the way?
