Emmerdale favourite Adam Thomas has announced the shock closure of one of his restaurants.
Entrepreneur Adam Thomas, 34, who played Adam Barton in the soap, has confirmed he has shut down restaurant The Spinn - based in Gatley. Adam and friend Scott Graham opened the venue together back in 2019.
Our colleagues at the MEN spoke to Adam about the decision. The duo recently launched their second permanent site - The Spinn Off bar at Stockport's Underbanks - which they will now focus on as their business heads into the ‘next chapter’.

Adam said: “Unfortunately, we have decided to close the Spinn. We did what we had to do with the Spinn and we learnt so much building our first venture and more importantly we had an absolute blast.
"But after 3 years we felt the time was right for us to move on. We are now focusing on the next chapter of the Spinn with The Spinn Off and Oh My Glaze.
Those who don’t know Oh My Glaze is a burger sauce company which hosted a pop-up venue at the Trafford Centre earlier this year.
Adam said staff will continue on at the company's other sites. He concluded: “Thanks again to everyone who has supported us along the way and continues to support us and to all our staff who we will continue to take on this journey with us.”
