Emmerdale's Nicola King finally got justice on the ITV soap on Friday night, as four characters were found guilty of a recent attack on her.
Naomi Walters learned her own fate in the court scenes, as Saskia continued to try and frame her for the brutal assault on Nicola.
But after a few days in court, and all sides sharing their version of events, there was relief as justice was confirmed.
After an altercation with a group of girls on a night out earlier this year, Nicola was brutally attacked and left bleeding and barely conscious on the ground.
Charles Anderson's daughter Naomi was revealed to have been at the scene of the attack shortly after it happened, when Nicola recognised her voice and her trainers.
Naomi eventually told the police everything and revealed who the attackers were, and this week the five of them faced trial.
Nicola ended up running out of the room, still struggling months on from the assault, as the group leader Saskia was found guilty by the jury on the charge of grievous bodily harm.
Saskia became aggressive as she reeled from the fact she'd been found out, and told the court Nicola deserved what happened to her.
Then, one by one, each of the other members of the group learned their fates - and all of them were found guilty of GBH.
Naomi was last to hear the verdict, convinced she would be joining them after being convicted of the crime.
She was in shock and relieved though, as were her loved ones when a member of the jury confirmed she had been found not guilty of the charge.
It was later revealed she had been found guilty of a separate charge though, with this being affray.
But her brother Ethan Anderson, a lawyer, told her she would unlikely go to prison for this and instead faced a fine, or community service.
The girls' plan to set up Naomi failed, and Nicola decided to pay her a visit to try and put their conflict behind them - happy to have got justice.
However, as she arrived, a troubled Nicola walked in on the family celebrating Naomi's fate and this left her upset.
Still struggling with what happened, she took the celebrations as them not actually caring about her or the fact she got justice.
As Naomi's dad Charles Anderson defended their behaviour, Nicola verbally lashed out at him and refused to put their feud to bed.
She called them out for not going to see her after the verdict, and for instead celebrating Naomi's result. But will the family be able to make amends with her?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV and ITV Hub, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
