Emmerdale has teased the first victim of Meena Jutla, who turns killer next week on the ITV soap.
As her controlling and vindictive behaviour spirals out of control, Meena will murder a village resident in shocking scenes.
The identity of her victim is yet to be confirmed, but a new trailer has hinted at the unlucky character set to meet a harrowing end next week.
David Metcalfe, Jacob Gallagher, Leanna Cavanagh, Gabby Thomas and Victoria Sugden all feature in the tense montage of scenes ahead of the murder.
Meena and Jacob declare war on one another, while Meena also approaches Leanna.
Then there's the random appearance of pregnant teen Gabby, while Victoria threatens to endanger herself as she appears to kiss Meena's boyfriend David.
Viewers will not know until the scenes air who is killed by Meena, and why - as the specific scenes are being kept under wraps until transmission.
In the trailer, Meena warns Jacob not to mess with her after he vows to expose her to his dad David - while Leanna is confused when she tries to befriend her.
Jacob says: "My dad will see right through you sooner or later, I'm gonna make sure of that. We'll never be friends."
She eerily responds: "Oh that's a shame... I'm very loyal to people who put their trust in me, but as an enemy you really don't wanna go there."
The end of the clip sees Meena walking menacingly towards a bridge, but could she be about to claim her victim here or has she already committed the crime elsewhere?
It was already teased earlier this month that Meena may have killed before, after she opened up about the death of a friend named Nadine.
While she claimed Nadine took her own life, newspaper cuttings suggested the death was suspicious.
So could Meena be lining up multiple victims in the village, and has she already gotten away with murder?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
