Emmerdale star Rebecca Sarker revealed her own son has criticised her “inappropriate” outfit choices.
The 48-year-old actress, who plays Manpreet Sharma on the ITV soap, has two sons - aged 11 and 16 - and admitted one of her children hates what she wears.
Talking about her outfit at the TRIC awards last month, Rebecca joked it was “inappropriate for a 48-year-old.”
And when asked who had told her that, she quipped: “My son.”
The actress caused a stir at the bash when she wore a floral crop top, tiny blue shorts and orange strappy sandals to the prestigious ceremony, with some criticising her summer casual style.
One even said it was something they would “wear for a run”, and she looked "out of place" alongside her smartly dressed co-stars, prompting Rebecca’s fans to leap to her defence.
“If you’ve got it, flaunt it. She’s definitely got it!” one wrote.
“Why are people talking about what Manpreet is wearing… age is just a number and you only live once,” another Emmerdale fan added.
She recently wowed fans with a series of snaps from her holiday, sharing images of her in bikinis and figure-hugging dresses.
The actress has been involved in a number of big storylines over the years, including being instrumental in the downfall of her serial killer sister Meena Jutla.
The psychopath murdered at least Emmerdale residents, including her own father, Nadine Butler, Leanna Cavanagh, Andrea Tate and Ben Tucker.
Meena, played by Paige Sandhu was sentenced to life imprisonment last year, and despite no longer appearing on the show, Rebecca still keeps in touch with her former co-star.
“We keep in touch, we couldn't not,” she told the Daily Star, as she revealed she's really close with her on-screen sister.
“You become friends on a show like this, when you work so closely to someone it's absolutely natural that you would keep in touch,” the mum-of-two added.
