Emmerdale's Charity Dingle will finally learn the truth about her cheating partner Mackenzie Boyd in upcoming scenes.
Viewers know that Mack slept with Chloe Harris last summer, and now she is pregnant with his baby.
Initially wanting nothing to do with Chloe or the baby, things got awkward after she collapsed and Charity allowed her to stay at their home.
While Mack has decided to be there for his child, he still doesn't want the truth to come out and wants Chloe out of the house.
That said, upcoming scenes will see him decide to reveal all to Charity, only for a family emergency to stop him in his tracks.
Ahead of his wedding to Charity though, the soap's producers Jane Hudson and Laura Shaw have confirmed that she does finally find out the truth.
They spilled that the question needing to be answered was when it would happen and not if, having previously teased it could come out on their wedding day.
When Charity finds out things will get explosive, with the repercussions set to run on into next year.
Jane revealed in a preview: "I think one of our big stories is Charity, Mackenzie and Chloe and that triangle. I mean we always thought it's not a question of if Charity will find out that Mack is the father of Chloe' baby, but it's when is she going to find out.
"She is going to find out and it is going to be explosive. There is going to be massive repercussions for all these characters which will carry us right into 2024."
It comes after Jane recently told The Mirror what 2023 had in store for residents, and teased when the baby lie would come out.
She said in December: "We have got the Charity and Mackenzie wedding on the cards which is happening next year.
"I think we know weddings don't always go very smoothly, and Chloe's baby is maybe due around the time of the wedding, so I'll leave it to yourselves to figure out what might happen around the wedding date and birth date, and it will be explosive for Charity and Mackenzie."
Jane went on: "I would say the start of 2023 is explosive for the Dingles.
"We have got Cain at the heart of what is happening in the village, we have got Paddy and Chas at the heart of what is happening, and we have got Charity and Mack, so the Dingles are really kicking off 2023 with a bang. It's all going on for them."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
