Emmerdale legend Dominic Brunt teams up with forgotten Dingle star for new project away from ITV soap

Emmerdale legend Dominic Brunt has linked up with an old Dingle pal for an exciting new project.

Millions know Dominic Brunt, 52, as Emmerdale vet Paddy Dingle but away from the village he’s a big fan of horror films and has become an accomplished director. Dominic has previously helmed Attack of The Adult Babies and Evie among other flicks.

His latest effort Wolf Manor was written by Joel Ferrari and Pete Wild with Dominic at the helm. It stars James Fleet, from The Vicar of Dibley, with the production being shot in Shropshire.

Another who appears in Wolf Manor is John Henshaw, from Early Doors, with the actor previously having the honour of playing a Dingle in Emmerdale.

Back in 1999, he played Ezra Dingle in four episodes of the ITV soap.

Speaking to the Radio Times, Dominic said: “John Henshaw used to be a Dingle. Years and years ago, before he had a great career going on to do other things, he was a Dingle for a few months - Ezra Dingle (brother of Steve Halliwell’s Zak).

“So I already knew John, and I kept bumping into him over the years, so we grabbed him.
