Acting "recklessly", Cathy climbed onto the side of a bridge and began spinning round quickly towards the edge.
While she was "just having fun" she didn't seem to realise or care about the danger she was in, as she almost dropped to the floor below.
As her phone and the bottle of booze she was carrying fell to the ground, she suddenly stopped in her tracks and panicked as she dangled over the edge.
As her friends began screaming out to her in a panic, her dad and others raced over to her in a bid to save her and stop her falling.
Her father Bob managed to grab her just in time and got her down, before she struggled to explain her behaviour.
With those around her picking up on the fact she was "up and down" and didn't seem to care about the danger she was in, Cathy got upset and protested that she just wanted to be happy.

Bob took his daughter to hospital, and amid the soap revealing the teen would suffer a manic episode she was assessed by a mental health team.
Cathy confessed that she didn't want to feel the way she did, but often felt sad and anxious and sometimes angry, while today she was "buzzing" - while her loved ones had assumed she had drunk alcohol or taken something, which she had not.
Soon, a doctor told her there would be a wait for help or treatment but that she may be suffering from depression.
