Emmerdale hinted at Liv's caravan death weeks ago in eerie scene with Vinny

Emmerdale dropped a major hint about Liv Flaherty's death just weeks ago on the ITV soap, after she was crushed by a caravan amid the horror storm during Wednesday's episode.

Some eagle-eyed viewers actually picked up on this, and numerous other references to the mobile home ahead of the tragedy on Wednesday night.

From talks about dodgy wiring, and the fact it needed a full on makeover, it's been teased for months that the caravan might lead to death and horror.

Vinny was desperate to help Sam Dingle fit it up, in the hope of turning it into Lydia Dingle's dream caravan.

But now, his project with Sam is tinted with tragedy after it slammed into him and Liv in the village, injuring them both.

While Vinny was able to crawl out to safety, it emerged Liv was trapped and her lower body had been crushed, causing fatal injuries.

Vinny and Liv's brother Aaron Dingle could do nothing but support her as the emergency services confirmed she was going to die.

In heart-wrenching scenes, Vinny cradled his wife as she passed away in his arms, leaving viewers sobbing.

But following the cliffhanger on Tuesday as the caravan flew through the air and hit Liv and Vinny, fans were quick to recall recent hints of what was on the cards.

As well as it randomly being kept outside the pub, fans picked up on suggestions that the caravan was a death trap, and that it was dangerous.

Taking to Twitter, fans shared these observations and predicted something terrible was going to happen, even weeks before the death.

One viewer had said: "THEORY: 'The thing's a flaming death trap. You need to get it sorted'. What if Liv and Vinny take shelter during the storm and the caravan gets crushed by a tree or something?"

Another said: "Someone’s gonna get squidged by it???"

A third fan wrote: "Yeah I am certain someone gets crushed or it gets destroyed in the storm."

Meanwhile, a fourth viewer tweeted: "Given the amount they’ve mentioned the wiring on that caravan, it’s got to catch fire or something, surely."

So it seems Emmerdale may have been dropping hints to the tragedy all along, even with Vinny in the scenes ahead of his wife's death.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
