Emmerdale 'foreshadows heartbreaking death' in eerie Aaron and Liv scene

Emmerdale aired a chilling scene on Sunday night, that may have foreshadowed a looming tragedy during the 50th anniversary episodes.

As the deadly storm took hold in the village, one character was drowning his sorrows after witnessing a betrayal.

Aaron Dingle had just seen his mother Chas Dingle hugging it out with her fling Al Chapman, moments after telling her son she had ended the romance for good.

With her betraying her husband Paddy Kirk, she said she didn't want to lose him or any of her family so had ended things.

So to see her mother back in the arms of Al left Aaron furious, and after hitting the bottle he lashed out at his sister Liv Flaherty.

But it was something Aaron said to Liv in the latest episode that could have been a tease of what is to come, amid confirmed deaths on the ITV soap.

During a chat, he said once Faith Dingle's funeral was done he was leaving for good - claiming if he didn't leave, he or someone else would die.

Whether he was alluding to him possibly killing Al or being killed himself remains unknown, but with the looming storm it could also be a hint of him or someone close to him being killed off.

Aaron said: "Do you know how good it feels to be in a place where nobody knows your name, or your family or your past? God I hate this place.

"As soon as the funeral is done I'm gone. Never mind all your tears, you've got your family here now, Vinny, just be happy with that because if I stay here I'll die, or someone will."

Viewers took this as being a "foreshadowing" of either Aaron, Liv or both of them being killed off this week.

It comes amid reports Liv could be killed off in looming scenes (ITV)

It comes amid reports Liv could be killed off in looming scenes, as actress Isobel Steele is reportedly leaving the ITV soap.

Nothing has been confirmed, amid theories it could actually be Aaron or Vinny who are killed off in the big stunt week.

Viewers will have to tune in all this week to find out what goes down, and which characters survive the deadly storm.
