Emmerdale fans are predicting a heartbreaking death could air on the show in October, for the ITV soap's 50th anniversary episodes.
It is known the soap is going big for their milestone year, while exact details are not being confirmed for now.
There have been teasers for the big episodes and the lead-up, including a birth, possible returns and a summer wedding.
But amid some devastating news that was confirmed recently, fans are now guessing a sad death will rock the Dales during the celebrations too.
Faith Dingle was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer last month, and was told that her illness was incurable.
She has yet to tell her family her cancer has returned, but has confided in her daughter-in-law Moira Dingle, and nurse Wendy Posner.
It's not known how long Faith has left to live, with her recently questioning if it was "months not years", while she is undergoing treatment.
This week she has been seen suffering side effects of that treatment, with her struggling to hide her illness from those who don't know what is going on.
As she claimed she was fine in the latest episode, despite clearly being unwell, viewers quickly predicted she may lose her life later this year.
Taking to Twitter, many viewers guessed the storyline wasn't going to end happily for Faith and the Dingles, and that the 50th birthday episodes would be the time she was likely to pass away.
One viewer said: "Faith makes Emmerdale entertaining. This will end one way and that’s in October 2022! If I’m wrong then I’ll be happy."
Another tweeted: "Faith 'I’m fine, honestly' in other words 'I’m f***ed they’re gonna kill me off!' # Emmerdale."
A third viewer agreed: "Faith 'I’m fine, honestly' in other words they are killing her off in October in time for the 50th! #Emmerdale."
Another viewer said: "I love Faith really not prepared if she does get killed off."
