Emmerdale fans have rumbled Nicky's plan for Kim Tate and Home Farm, as he made a bold move with Gabby tonight.
Nicky and Gabby have been dating for several weeks behind everyone's back but no one has found out until Caleb Milligan walked into the kitchen where they were getting intimate and had some choice words to share.
Tonight, the couple decided to prove their love to one another by telling everyone including Kim Tate, Bernice Blackstock and Laurel Thomas that they were dating, leaving Kim clearly horrified by the concept.
She had just taken Nicky on permanently so was less than impressed to see they were together.
However, things got even worse for Kim when Nicky pulled out a ring belonging to his mother and got down on one knee. Kim was horrified by his proposal, but Gabby instantly said yes.
Fans are now speculating more about Nicky's identity and his secret, after actor Lewis Cope teased that Nicky has his reasons for dating Gabby and hinted his decision behind it might not be 100 per cent genuine feelings.
Taking to social media, fans are convinced Nicky is hiding a big secret about who he really is.
"Nicky putting his plan into place. Whatever it is #Emmerdale," one fan wrote, as a second added: " #Emmerdale they’ve literally been seeing each other for day’s & now he’s proposing! When’s the wedding, next episode? Nicky’s up to something."
A third shared: "Nicky will end up bleeding them dry #Emmerdale," with a fourth writing: "Anyone else think Nicky & Caleb are working together to get hold of all the shares of home farm? I’m wondering if they’re father & son #Emmerdale."
"Nicky must have a reason for proposing to Gabby. He obviously has to move things along for some part of a plan. #emmerdale," a fifth penned as they shared their verdict on social media.
Actor Lewis Cope previously teased Nicky wasn't all what he seemed, whilst fellow Emmerdale star Rosie Bentham revealed there could be a huge Nicky identity twist ahead - despite Gabby thinking he's perfect.
She said: "The speculation is really funny to look at. I don’t think anyone’s got it bang on at the minute. It’s so great.
"No one’s actually thinking that this guy is who he says he is. It's a soap so who knows, but Gabby definitely sees him as this perfect boy who’s come in and could change her life for the better.
"Gabby and Nicky are so in love with each other. They’re so smitten at the minute. Gabby shocked the viewers with how quickly she flung herself on to Nicky as soon as he walked through the door, but that is very typical Gabby."
