Emmerdale aired a horrific attack on Nicola King last night - and now fans have rumbled who her mystery attacker was.
Nicola had gone for a night out with sister Bernice Blackstock and pal Laurel Thomas, when she was tragically set on by a random group of teenagers, who attacked and pushed her, leaving her bleeding on the ground.
She was tormented, mugged and violently assaulted as the young girls ran off without calling for help, but one girl seemed to have a conscience and stood next to Nicola, who was on the ground and apologised for what happened.
However, fans are now convinced they've rumbled who the girl was - and she lives in the village.
The girl might have not attacked Nicola directly, but she ran off without calling for help - and now fans are convinced that Nicola will work out who it is by noticing her rather unusual trainers in the village.
The mystery young girl's identity has not yet been revealed on the ITV soap, but now fans are sure they know who it is.
"Who was the one who actually apologised though? Surely not someone Nicola knows from the village right? Chloe maybe even? #Emmerdale #JusticeForNicola," one fan wrote online.
A second added: "Wonder if the girl with white trainers is Chloe? A wild guess IF Nicola recognises the same trainers in the village #emmerdale," as a third shared: "Nicola will recognise the trainers on someone in the village next #emmerdale."
Nicola was set upon in the car park when she came across two young girls, one of which was throwing up on the floor having drank too much. They started chatting to Nicola, asking for some booze but she said they had enough and carried on walking. As they told her they had been celebrating a big birthday, Nicola threw another sarcastic comment their way and they took issue.
The girls soon signalled to their other friends and they all circled around her, before stealing her bag and mocking her. They then threw her phone on the floor and told her to "go fetch" as they chucked their keys away.
She grabbed her stuff and tried to head to the car, before being set on again by the main girl, who kicked her in the stomach and assaulted her, filming it all on their phones.
