Emmerdale fans upset over 'ridiculous errors' in Caleb push fallout

Emmerdale fans are less than impressed with 'errors' in the show's main storyline.

Caleb, an unpopular figure in the village, was pushed off a cliff by his son and suffered serious injuries. He was put in a coma to save his life.

But he has miraculously recovered and has told his son Nicky, who pushed him, that he knows it was him. Caleb is so coherent that he has even said he will choose between a rival Mackenzie or his son Nicky when the police ask him who pushed him.

But the recovery has not impressed fans who have pointed out 'unrealistic' errors. On Twitter, they complained that the recovery and storyline was ridiculous.

@gopaldaspriya said: "This proves how pathetic #emmerdale has gotten,he fell all that way onto a tree trunk and all night out. Yet he's fine yeah right".

@TonyMario17 tweeted: "Your writers are rubbish, police didn’t do forensics and magically knew everyone grievance with Caleb and missed the blatantly obvious gay son being forced to marry gabby and then rejected by his gay partner."

@BiffenGlenn wrote: "Oh this is so stupid. Lachlan is in a secure prison in a different city. PC Curly Wurly decides to announce it. It's bit like the, probably now retired, Sergeant from the Met, seeking me out and informing me that my attacker from 36 yrs ago is in jail..in Venezuela."

@ClaireGemm said: "A newish character gets pushed off a cliff and it turns out it was another character that hasn't been in it for yonks. And the other character involved in this is an annoying character who isn't the best of actors. The whole storyline is boring #emmerdale"

@Chris1968E tweeted: "#Emmerdale why do they bring in new characters that have no redeeming qualities. Do they think everyone in the whole world is an evil, nasty, twisted, murdering scumbag. Ridiculous"

@gffcontwitch said: "You know when you need better episode writers, when hardly anyone tweets along!! #Emmerdale #ItvEmmerdale"
