Emmerdale fans have been going wild trying to guess what Leyla Harding's big secret could be.
Popular character Leyla (Roxy Shahidi) is set for a shocking secret to be revealed that will see huge “ramifications for Liam and Jacob”.
Speaking to press recently, Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw teased “Leyla's got a huge story coming up where a shocking secret is revealed and this will have huge ramifications for Liam and Jacob in particular.
"And some of our most loved couples will have stories that we will see how they navigate through their problems as strong family units."
After tuning into Friday night's episode of Emmerdale, viewers began to speculate about what Leyla's big secret could be after the arrival of Suzy Merton.
One person suggested on Twitter : "Professional con artists - Suzy and Leyla?"
In response to this, a different viewer tweeted: "Suzy suggesting her and Leyla should go into business together. Perhaps @VanityPending’s theory that they’re conwomen might grow legs #Emmerdale."
Another viewer predicted: "I think Leyla and Suzy have slept together #Emmerdale."
Someone else posted: "Another theory for Suzy and Leyla - Drug dealing - using take a vow and whatever Suzy’s business is as a front for laundering dirty money and turning it into clean money! #emmerdale."
One other viewer admitted: "#Emmerdale why am i nervous about leyla’s truth."
It comes after Leyla clashed with Suzy during Thursday night's episode as she urged her to leave and never return - fearing she would expose her secrets in the village.
Despite Suzy reassuring her this would not happen, Leyla didn't seem convinced as they discussed how they knew each other.
It was clear they were both hiding how exactly they knew one another, with Suzy revealing they had been friends for years - while Leyla's reaction suggested there was more to it.
