Fans of Emmerdale couldn't believe what they were hearing as Cain Dingle tried to be a voice of reason.
Tonight's episode of the ITV soap saw the village bad boy trying to have a heart to heart with Noah, who has recently been found out to be a stalker. The teenager became infatuated with his ex-girlfriend Chloe Harris and began to stalk her.
This week has outed the youngster as a "creep." It has been hit and miss on whether or not Chloe would report Noah to the police.

Tonight, fans watching the soap were surprised by Cain's behaviour. He opened up on how he had previously acted in an unusual way over a woman and reminisced of a time when he was in love with Angie Reynolds. He said his idea of love was "twisted."
The female police officer fell for the charm of criminal Cain. She thought that the fling was exciting and dangerous at first, but the excitement soon wore off and she chose to stop seeing Cain after deciding that she still wanted to be with her husband.
Cain was furious and started to pursue her daughter, Ollie, instead. He warned Angie to resume the affair if she didn't want him to sleep with Ollie.
Tonight, Cain told Noah that he never meant to hurt anyone, as he hinted at understanding why Noah had done what he did to Chloe. But he still told him straight to "stop being a creep."
Fans took to Twitter to share their disbelief at Cain trying to be the voice of reason. Sophie said: "If Cain is the one to talk sense into perv Noah I am quitting this soap. Seriously. #emmerdale". Pam said: "Cain lecturing Noah & talking to his mother like dirt....he'll never change #Emmerdale."
Grianne said: "Bit rich Cain telling Noah he needs to change his ways and apologise is it not? Especially after the way he's been treating his own family lately? Charity, Liv, even his own Mother sadly. Maybe he should just take his own advice for once? Total hypocrite that he is? #Emmerdale."
Eva said: "I personally don’t think Cain is the right person to give Noah this chat - after repeatedly grooming teenage girls (Ollie, Jasmine and Amy) - it is definitely not right #emmerdale."
